Each artist is given a page, www.NewChristianArtist.com/yourname so they can market, sell, and distribute their music globally and communicate with their fans about their music ministry. Many artists don’t have the money or know-how to make their own website and this gives them one – FREE! Complete with e-commerce, an Event Calendar, Contact Info, Bio, Pictures, etc. For the artist that does have their own website, this is still a huge help because people don’t just randomly search your band name (The Freight-Hoppers) for example. But they DO search “Christian artist” and our site comes up. To think that you don’t need to have a page is like a guy with a tomato stand thinking “I don’t need to sell my tomatoes in Wall-Mart. I’ll just hope somebody drives down my street and finds me.” That’d be crazy! The e-commerce works like this. Listeners buy credits and every credit equals $1.00. When they download your song, you get .65 credit(s) deposited into your account. It’s as if you had .65 cents put in your account.
